Leaders Awards Launch

Tech Industry Alliance Officially Launches 2026 Leaders Awards

Nominations now open ahead of black-tie gala at the five-star Great Southern Killarney

Tech Industry Alliance has officially launched the 2026 Leaders Awards at a recent meeting of the TIA Board held at the RDI Hub in Killorglin, Co. Kerry.

A highlight of the business and technology calendar in the South West, the Leaders Awards celebrate the people, companies and organisations making a significant impact across the region’s technology sector.

The 2026 Leaders Awards will take place on Friday, 13 November 2026 at the five-star Great Southern Killarney, bringing together leaders from across the technology and business community for a black-tie gala evening of celebration, networking and entertainment.

For almost two decades, the Leaders Awards have recognised achievement and excellence across the South West technology ecosystem, from innovative start-ups and scaling Irish businesses to multinational organisations, educators and industry leaders.

Nominations for the 2026 awards are now open and will close on 4 October 2026. Members of the technology community and wider public are encouraged to put forward the companies, teams and organisations whose achievements deserve to be recognised.

Speaking ahead of the awards, Matthew Camilleri, Chairperson of Tech Industry Alliance, said:

“The Leaders Awards provide an important opportunity to recognise and celebrate the achievements taking place across the South West technology sector. Every year, we see the strength, ambition and innovation of companies and teams across the region reflected in the nominations we receive. We would encourage the wider technology community to get involved and put forward the achievements and success stories that deserve to be recognised.”

The awards recognise excellence across a broad range of areas, including innovation, AI, cybersecurity, sustainability, education, workplace learning, start-ups, scale-ups, indigenous companies and multinational organisations.

Following the nomination deadline, submissions will be reviewed by an expert judging panel, with finalists taking part in virtual interviews from 2–6 November 2026. Winners will be announced at the Leaders Awards Gala Dinner on 13 November and the evening will be hosted by MC Anton Savage
