EURES Ireland – Invitation for employers to participate in Online European Recruitment Event

Invitation to participate in Online European Recruitment Event.
Boost your Career with EURES-Jobs in ICT and Business.

 23rd May 2024

What is EURES?

EURES Ireland (European Employment Services) is part of a network of more than 1,000 EURES Advisers across Europe. The service is delivered as part of the Public Employment Service delivered by the Department of Social Protection here in Ireland.

EURES was established by the European Commission to facilitate the free movement of workers within the European Union (EU)/European Economic Area (EEA) countries. EURES Advisers provide information, guidance and recruitment services to both jobseekers and employers interested in the European job market.

What format does this event take?

EURES/European Employment Services within the Department of Social Protection will be holding a European Online Job Day organised in cooperation with Spain, France, the Netherlands and Finland. This is a great opportunity for employers recruiting in the ICT or Business sectors to promote their job opportunities in Ireland and throughout the EU.

The online event will be hosted on the European Online Job Days (EOJD) platform.

Through the website and its interactive elements, jobseekers and job changers will be able to apply for jobs and book job interviews in advance of the event. A range of recruitment services will be available to employers, including publishing vacancies on the event’s website, automatic matching, interview scheduling and conducting interviews through the EOJD platform. On the 23rd May the event will go live with the broadcasting of information presentations, online interviews and online public & private chats.

What are the benefits of participation?

  • Cost effective – this event is funded and supported by the European Labour Authority/EURES and there is no cost to your company to participate.
  • Ability to promote all your current vacancies for free. EURES will use social media, targeted campaigns and online advertising to promote the event both in Ireland and across Europe.
  • Direct access to a huge pool of European jobseekers interested in working in different countries.
  • Full access to all necessary resources to conduct virtual interviews – no additional software required.
  • Opportunity to interact with jobseekers across the EU on your virtual Employer stand.
  • Technical support from the European Labour Authority.
  • Online resources to guide you:
  • Information on EURES financial supports available for follow up interviews and/or recruitment.
  • Opportunity to participate in other events organised across the EU/EEA.
