Tech Industry Alliance Leaders Awards 2025 will take place on Friday, 28th November, at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Cork. Leaders Awards is our annual celebration of innovation, achievement, and impact across the South West’s tech ecosystem.
For more than 18 years, the Leaders Awards have recognised the trailblazers, innovators, and changemakers shaping the future of technology in the South West. This black-tie gala brings together tech leaders, educators, start-ups, multinationals, and SMEs for a night of recognition, connection, and celebration.

All winners will be announced at the gala dinner on Leaders Awards night. Attendees can look forward to an evening of celebration and entertainment, making the Leaders Awards not only a flagship event for the tech sector but also a fantastic option for Christmas parties. Event MC: Anton Savage
Anton Savage is a seasoned broadcaster, journalist, and communications advisor with extensive experience across TV, radio, and print media. He has hosted numerous shows, including The Sunday Business Show, Ireland AM, The Tonight Show, The Last Word, and the PPI Gold Medal-winning Anton Savage Show. Currently, Anton presents The Anton Savage Show, a dynamic current affairs program on weekend mornings, and regularly steps in as relief presenter on The Pat Kenny Show and The Hard Shoulder on Newstalk. As a columnist for The Sunday Business Post, Anton has contributed to nearly every major Irish newspaper. He also co-founded The Communications Clinic, a leading communications consultancy.
Excellence in Education Award: The Tech Industry Alliance Leaders Awards Excellence in Education Award is proudly sponsored by Trend Micro. Again for this year, Trend Micro will provide the winning school with €5,000 to support STEM initiatives. This award recognises schools that demonstrate “Excellence in Education” by fostering the development of IT skills in students and/or teachers. It will be granted to a school that showcases an outstanding technology initiative benefiting the school itself and/or the broader South West region.

The Tech person of the Year award will be selected by the Tech Industry Alliance Executive Board and goes to an individual who has demonstrated many years commitment to the tech industry in the South West region.
The Chairperson Community Award is nominated by the Chairperson of Tech Industry Alliance. This award focuses on giving recognition to a particular group or project that has positively influenced the Tech community in the South West region of Ireland.
